Get to Know the Boss…

Hello! Whether you’ve known me for years or are just stopping in, welcome! My name is Ryleigh, and I’ve always loved all things weddings and events, playing small parts in the industry for several years now, taking the reins to do what I love. I can truly say I thrive in the mess of vendor chaos, color palettes, and last-second disasters, creating calm and bringing the “Quiet Waters Touch” to every scenario. While living on California's beautiful Central Coast has its benefits for being truly a “perfect” place to get married (completely biased opinion, of course), whether you are looking for a scenic beach wedding or breathtaking vineyard views, we’ve got you covered.

Having your back in more than one way, my mission statement is deeper than a statement. I can honestly say the dream isn’t just to plan your wedding, but to create a connection and a deeper understanding of what you want when it comes to the celebration of your love. Believing that planning your wedding should feel just as intentional as the day itself. My role is to bring clarity to the chaos, guiding you through the process with a calm, steady presence so everything feels organized, seamless, and genuinely yours.

So you just got engaged!

First off, congratulations! Now comes all the questions, the ones not only you have but all the ones everyone is asking you. When's the wedding? Do you have a color scheme? Who are you inviting? and many, many more… Most importantly, this is about you and your partner starting the next chapter of your lives together. So, remind yourself and those around you to take a moment and soak in all of the joy of this moment.

Getting into the nitty-gritty, first thing to remember is that this is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience. Start with the fun stuff, like starting a Pinterest board. gathering things like the color palette, the overall feeling you want on that day,  time of year your dream wedding takes place in. Which goes into the second portion, wedding date, it's a simple yet surprisingly hard decision. My advice is to choose the time of year, then go from there, say you dream of a summer wedding, now the date you and your partner get to make 100% of the decision, regardless of anyone else’s opinion, and yes, someone will have something to say about it. Whether it’s a date significant to your relationship or something as silly as 7/27/27 because it's a palindrome. Just remember that this is the beginning of your next steps, prioritizing you and your partner as a couple. Once you have your dream date and vision board thats where I come in, someone to handle the details and stress of wedding planning so you get to enjoy the process of dreaming up your perfect day.
